Your Grand Arrival

Every arrival tells a story

Some moments deserve more than simply arriving.

Whether it’s your wedding day, a special anniversary, a prom or simply an occasion worth celebrating,
arriving in a beautiful 1951 Armstrong Siddeley makes the journey part of the occasion.

There’s no fleet of cars here and no large booking operation.
Just one rather special British limousine, owned and cared for by us,
and a very personal service from the first conversation to the day itself.

Meet Nigel & Jo

We’re Nigel and Jo, the husband and wife team behind Your Grand Arrival.

We’ve spent many years in hospitality, events and community projects, so looking after people and helping make occasions special isn’t particularly new to us. The vintage chauffeur business is, and we’re quite happy to say that.

Your Grand Arrival grew from our love of classic British motoring and the simple idea that getting there should be part of the experience, rather than just the journey between two places.

When you contact us, you’ll speak to one of us. We’ll talk through what you’re planning, work out timings with you and, on the day, it will still be us looking after you. No booking agents, no call centre and no passing you from one person to another.

A rare British limousine

Our Armstrong Siddeley isn’t a replica or a modern car dressed to look old. She was built in 1951 and is a wonderfully original piece of British motoring history.

Only 122 of these limousines were produced and, as far as we’ve been able to establish, ours may now be the only roadworthy example of its type in the UK.

Originally supplied for the use of Sir W. G. Armstrong, she has had quite a life. More recently that has included weddings at some rather special places, including St George’s Chapel at Windsor.

There’s plenty of room inside, including occasional seats suitable for children or attendants, and the wonderfully unhurried ride you’d expect from a large British limousine of the period.

She’s not quick. She’s not modern. And that’s rather the point.

More than a car

We have a few plans for Your Grand Arrival.

Jo is developing the celebrant side of the business, while Nigel is working towards offering Master of Ceremonies services. Over time, we’d also like to build relationships with a small number of local photographers and wedding suppliers we genuinely trust.

We’re deliberately not trying to do everything at once. We’d rather build Your Grand Arrival slowly, work with good people and only recommend services we’d be happy to use ourselves.

For now, the Armstrong Siddeley remains very much at the heart of what we do.

Begin your journey

Whether you’ve already planned every last detail or you’re only just starting to think about transport, we’d love to hear what you have in mind.

Tell us the date, where you’re going and roughly what you’d like the car to do. We’ll come back to you personally, talk through the practicalities and give you a straightforward price.

And if you’d simply like to come and see the Armstrong Siddeley before deciding, that’s absolutely fine too.
